On this very special week of Thanksgiving, I can’t help but reflect on my life. (I think it’s something we all tend to do this time of year.) Throughout the year, it’s easy to get caught up in busyness. It’s too easy to focus on life’s struggles and forget life’s blessings. But this is why I LOVE Thanksgiving. It reminds us to have a thankful heart.
This past week, my Bible study focused on the Israelites and their complaining in the desert. God had just delivered them out of Egypt, and they had also just witnessed the true power of God when He parted the Red Sea. I can only imagine how awestruck they must have been! After only three days in the desert, however, the Israelites were already complaining (Exodus 15:22-25).
